Consortium Entrance Exam (11+)
For September 2020, girls applying to the North London Consortium sat the group’s single entrance examination, a form of Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT), reducing the number of entrance exams that girls applying to private schools had to take for 11+ entry.
However, for the September 2021 entrance examination, some Consortium Schools have opted to do the ISEB Common Pre-Test instead of the 11+ Consortium’s examination.
St Margaret’s is continuing with the normal 11+ Consortium’s assessment. If you are applying for a place here, your daughter will need to sit the test either with us or at one of the following schools: Francis Holland School (Sloane Square branch), More House School, Queen’s Gate School, St Augustine’s Priory or St James Senior Girls’ School. NB All schools in the Consortium not on the above list have set up their own one-off arrangements for 2020/2021. So if you registered your daughter at one of the other schools in the North London Consortium, you will need to contact them individually for the examination details.
If you have not already submitted your registration form, please indicate which school you would like to host your daughter on your form. If you have already submitted your application form, please make sure that you have contacted the school where you wish to sit the Consortium examination from the above list.
